Allez Labs is a research Lab specializing in strategy, data science and risk management, founded by three industry veterans — Alex Bertomeu-Gilles, Matt Cole and Khaled Grira. With a collective background in managing risk for major DeFi protocols and extensive experience in quantitative research and data science since 2019, Allez Labs is committed to driving innovation and transparency in the decentralized finance ecosystem.
Our Services
At Allez Labs, we offer two primary services:
1. Consulting and Services: We provide strategic consulting on GTM, market research, economic design, tokenomics, and analytics as well as expert risk management for DeFi protocols. Our team’s extensive experience ensures that we can offer tailored solutions to optimize your protocol’s strategic positioning and risks.
2. DeFi Dollars Product Development: We are actively seeking grants to support our innovative product, DeFi Dollar rate. This product introduces the DeFi Dollar Borrow (DDBR) and Supply (DDSR) Rates, which aggregate major USD stablecoin on-chain borrow and supply rates to enhance decision-making for lenders, borrowers, and protocols.
Our Expertise
Our team brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in DeFi risk management:
- Alex: As the risk lead of the Aave Genesis team, Alex built the first DeFi Risk Management Framework and played a pivotal role in establishing Aave as a leader in the DeFi space and supporting its consolidation phase. At Mangrove, she anchored her versatile DeFi expertise establishing the GTM, tokenomics and leading fundraising efforts. With a deep understanding of financial risk, Alex's expertise lies in DeFi strategy, governance and risk.
- Khaled: A former senior analyst at Block Analitica and quantitative researcher at Aave Companies, he has developed innovative tools like simulation software and frameworks for risk evaluation and primitives like the GHO stability module. His background in quantitative research and software development make him a key asset in our strategic initiatives.
- Matt: Matt's experience as a staff engineer in data science at Avara Labs and his tenure at Gartner and Freddie Mac have honed his skills in developing comprehensive DeFi databases and position risk monitoring systems. His contributions to data science and machine learning are crucial to our risk management infrastructure and models.
